Are you ready for a deep, life-changing experience?

Join us for a three-and-a-half-day retreat designed to open space for deep self-exploration, insight, and genuine personal growth. Within a small, intimate group, you are invited into an environment that supports presence, curiosity, and meaningful inner work.

Throughout the weekend, you will be guided into direct experience rather than abstract understanding. Through carefully held processes, you will explore your inner landscape, connect more deeply with yourself, and touch perspectives that may feel new, clarifying, or long overdue. Love and care form the foundation of the work, not as something done to you, but as a quality you learn to meet yourself with.

This retreat can open powerful experiences that support transformation. Lasting change, however, depends on how you integrate what you discover into your daily life. Insight alone is not the work; embodiment, reflection, and application are what allow change to take root over time.

To support this, the retreat includes structured follow-up calls and a buddy system to encourage accountability and integration after the weekend. Additional one-to-one integration support is available for those who wish to deepen or stabilise what has been opened.

The group is intentionally small, with 8 to 10 participants, allowing for depth, attention, and a high-quality experience. The retreat is facilitated by a trauma-informed team, including at least one licensed body-psychotherapist, combining psychological depth with grounded, compassionate presence. While the work can be profound, it is designed for personal development and self-exploration and does not constitute medical, psychiatric, or psychotherapeutic treatment.

If you feel ready to take responsibility for your own process, to engage honestly with yourself, and to bring what you learn back into your life, this retreat may be a meaningful next step.

Jetske Boomstra

Jetske Boomstra is a child of Mother Earth. A mother, a lover of life in all its light and dark. Sailing, swimming, dancing, kitchen goddess, garden whisperer, and experienced space holder.

About fifteen years ago, I was first introduced to the sweat lodge. I loved it and soon became involved in building the fire, carrying the stones inside, and supporting participants throughout the day. Later, I travelled extensively across Europe as a fire keeper for fire ceremonies and the accompanying sweat lodges.

When water began to call me more strongly, alongside sailing and swimming, becoming a water carrier felt like a natural next step. I love an open structure within the lodge ritual, with plenty of space for whatever wants to move and emerge in the moment.

Other team members will be added, depending on the group size.

Preparation & Suitability Call

Each participant is invited into a 30-minute one-to-one online video conversation. This is a space to meet, to listen, and to get a sense of who you are and what is drawing you to the retreat. We will explore your intentions together, touch into what is alive for you emotionally, and gently introduce the preparation work that supports the journey ahead.

This conversation is also an opportunity to feel into whether this retreat is a good fit for you at this moment in your life. We approach this with openness and care, knowing that there are times when medical or psychological considerations make participation less supportive. If that is the case, we will name it clearly and respectfully, with your wellbeing as the guiding principle.

In the week leading up to the retreat, you will receive a detailed email with practical information and dietary guidance, helping you prepare your body and mind in a mindful and supportive way.

Accommodation

We gather at a quiet and spacious retreat venue set in nature in the north of the Netherlands, surrounded by forest and heather. The setting offers both privacy and openness, creating a calm environment that naturally supports slowing down, reflection, and inward work.

We stay in 'Het Voorhuis' (Front House), a self-contained house on the land that allows the group to be together while maintaining a sense of safety, containment, and intimacy. The house is comfortably furnished and designed to support longer stays, with shared indoor spaces as well as access to the surrounding natural landscape.

Accommodation includes three nights in a double or twin room, with all essential amenities provided. The simplicity and comfort of the space are intended to support rest, grounding, and integration rather than distraction.

The surrounding outdoor areas offer ample opportunity for walking, quiet contemplation, and time alone in nature. These open spaces are available throughout the retreat and can be used to support integration between group sessions.

Expert Guidance

Our expert team is a trauma-informed and experienced group of guides, including a qualified therapist and facilitators with extensive experience in this field. Throughout the retreat, we are present and available, offering guidance with care, attentiveness, and professionalism. What unites us is a shared commitment to creating a space where people can feel held, supported, and met with respect, allowing natural processes of insight and growth to unfold.

We work with a high level of support, with at least one guide for every three participants. This ensures close attention, responsiveness, and a grounded sense of safety throughout the experience. Alongside this, we integrate music, creativity, and embodied practices to gently support and deepen the journey. We operate within a strong ethical and relational container. Our facilitators are trained to recognise and respond to emotional and somatic processes in a careful and respectful way.

Your safety, dignity, and privacy are taken seriously, and anything shared within the group is treated as confidential. This retreat is not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical treatment. Rather, it offers a complementary space for self-inquiry and personal growth, held with care, clarity, and responsibility.

Safety and ethical care

Your safety and well-being come first. We hold psilocybin work with care, professionalism, and clear ethical boundaries.

Our approach is guided by recognised ethical frameworks in the psychedelic and therapeutic fields, including MAPS, ICEERS, the Ayahuasca Defense Fund, and the International Association of Core Energetics.

These standards shape how we prepare, facilitate, and integrate the journey, with a strong emphasis on consent, boundaries, and respect for each participant’s process.

“Psilocybin is the key to the world’s best-kept secrets. A psilocybin experience can help us access parts of ourselves that are normally hidden from view.”

Paul Stamets

FAQ

No. Metamorphosis is a guided experiential retreat, not a substitute for psychotherapy or medical treatment.

While therapeutic principles may inform the space, your process remains your responsibility. If you are currently in acute crisis, severe depression, or psychiatric treatment, we recommend speaking with your clinician before applying.

Transformation is not something that happens to you. It is something you participate in.

The retreat may open experiences, insights, and embodied shifts. However, real change depends on how you integrate what arises into daily life. We provide structured integration support, including follow-up calls and peer accountability, but the depth of change depends on your engagement.

You are likely ready if:

  • You are willing to take responsibility for your own growth

  • You can regulate yourself when emotions arise

  • You are open to embodied practices

  • You are not looking to be “fixed”

Readiness is less about experience and more about psychological stability and willingness to integrate.

We assess this during the pre-retreat call.

Strong emotions are not a problem. Avoidance is.

Our facilitation team includes trained professionals who hold a structured and contained space. You will not be forced to share or perform. You will be supported in staying connected to your body and agency.

That said, you remain responsible for communicating your limits and taking care of your nervous system.

The retreat is the catalyst, not the conclusion.

We offer structured integration through:

  • Follow-up group calls

  • A buddy system for accountability

  • A 'tool box' for integration
  • Optional one-to-one integration sessions

Without integration, peak experiences tend to fade.
With integration, insights become embodied change.

For some participants, re-entering daily life can feel disorienting or tender after an intense inner experience. Shifting from a contained group environment back into work, family, and routine can require adjustment.

For this reason, Sunday is intentionally structured as an integration day. We focus on grounding the body, stabilising the nervous system, and translating insights into practical next steps. The aim is to support a gradual, embodied transition rather than an abrupt return.

If you feel you would benefit from additional space, we offer the option of an extra night for €50. This does not include dinner or breakfast, which you would need to arrange locally.
